We use many different treatment approaches, depending on your needs, including:

  • AEDP psychotherapy affords a safe environment for you to process traumas, focus on healing transformation, and facilitate better relationships with yourself and others.

  • ACT is an active therapy that encourages acceptance of inner feelings, reducing barriers to making positive changes, and developing a commitment to change.

  • CBT examines the relationship between thoughts, feelings, and behavior to help you undo problematic patterns and develop more effective ones.

  • EFT focuses upon inner feelings and builds understanding, awareness, and transformation in order to break negative cycles and improve self-identity.

  • With an emphasis on women and girls of color, FMT acknowledges current and past stressors such as discrimination and oppression, helping clients to become more empowered and resilient.

  • Biofeedback can help treat anxiety, chronic pain, headaches, tinnitus, and sleep, among other stress-related conditions.

  • Typically provided in a small group with 1-2 therapists, group therapy helps clients learn new coping skills and improve their relationships.

  • This therapy develops awareness of unconscious tendencies and defenses, past experience, and internal conflicts. Therapists will reflect and interpret, and foster improved insight.

  • IPT focuses upon past and current relationships, and helps reveal and improve patterns in roles, intimacy, power, and other dynamics.

  • Mindfulness helps you improve your awareness of your inner experience (sensations, emotions, thoughts), stay in the present moment, and reduce judgement, self-criticism, and harmful expectations.

  • This therapy improves awareness of the mind-body relationship, builds skills in relaxation techniques, and promotes learning about the influence of our physical functioning on our well-being.
